Who we are
Ian Coleman is partnering with Commercial and General Ltd bringing together the expertise of Michael Cant and Bradley Brandon-Cross and Ian’s 20 plus years of experience in the litigation and arbitration risks sector.
Commercial and General Ltd trading as Ian Coleman & Associates (ICA) intermediates the full suite of litigation and arbitration insurance and funding services.
Insurance and funding services have developed over the last 20 years and continue to evolve with all the fragilities of a relatively young industry and one where fact and fiction are often difficult to separate out.
ICA is here to steer clients through the maze giving practical and realistic advice in order to achieve the best fit possible for their needs with the overriding objective of achieving the best outcome for clients.
We will not charge the client a fee nor increase the cost of the funding. We provide our clients with full details of how we are remunerated and the level of that remuneration.
Our Values
The services and products we provide and arrange are a significant element that will determine the financial outcome in litigation or arbitration for the client in either scenario whether the case is won or lost.
The cost of premiums and funding is key but so too is the contractual operation of the Litigation Funding Agreement, the Priorities Agreement
and the ATE Policy.
During the life of the proceedings there will be referral points and approvals that are required, certainly of the ATE Insurers and sometimes of
the Litigation Funder. We remain with you in
that journey, liaising with the ATE Insurers
and Litigation Funder as required.
